CLIENT OVERVIEW

Medical Mutual is one of Maryland’s oldest and largest medical liability insurance companies. Their annual
report is a showcase communications piece for them
and is important to their board members and physician members alike.

PROJECT LEADERSHIP

This was my first opportunity to design Medical Mutual's annual report and a superb growing opportunity for me. Throughout the process, I had to communicate every detail of my design to those involved, carefully weigh
their feedback and make decisions accordingly. Many compromises were made in order to meet their needs, however, it was an excellent experience overall. I credit this project with growing my confidence and ability to articulate the reasoning behind my design decisions.

DESIGN PROCESS NOTES

Though most of my original layout concept evolved into the final product, I still am proud of the ways I convinced this client to strive for simplicity and elegance. I was also able to bring more elegance to the design with a finely embossed headline on the front cover and inside panel.

RESPONSE

The client was overjoyed with the final result of this annual report and received many accolades from the board members and physicians.
